Today in science class the students will be taking their Earth Structures Retake Test. After the test the students will read the article "How Do Dinosaur Fossils Get to Museums?" by Cindy Grigg. After the students have finished reading they will complete questions pertaining to the article.

Monday Class

Today in science, the students will be introduced to the volcanoes activity they will be working on this week. Each student will be assigned to work in a group. They will work with this group to create a presentation and poster about their assigned type of volcano (shield, cinder cone, composite). The presentations will begin on Thursday.

Today, we started our lesson on earthquakes. The students completed an earthquake webquest.

Today in science, we reviewed the "3 Types of Mountains" graphic organizer. Then, the students answered the question "How can the movement of tectonic plates form mountains?" through a 2 minute quick write. Lastly, the student took a mountain building quiz.
